The design and implementation of operating rooms involves complex solution of the building or built-in of the operating rooms, air-conditioning, cooling, piping, heavy and weak current circuits, instrumentation and control system as well as other operation parts.
The multifunctional wall system has been specially developed for the health service as an built-in system of operating rooms and their background in the provision of a working environment with the specified cleanliness class in conformity with the standards and regulations required for cleanrooms.
The advantage of the multifunctional wall system is its high variability; the design solution enables easy integration of internal equipment, control and functional systems. The walls can be supplemented with integrated pharma glazing and protection against X-ray radiation.
The multifunctional wall system consists of a self-supporting steel structure, on which lining panels are subsequently installed in split or compact composition. The lining panel is made of a steel jacket with multi-layer surface finish or antibacterial powder coating. The colour design of the lining panels can be chosen from a wide variety of RAL or NCS shades; another option is also large-format printing on the individual panels. The lining panels also can be manufactured in stainless steel finish.
If it is necessary the design composition of the built-in system enables simple disassembly of the lining panels and elements from the functional side of the operating room without dusty processes.
The lining panel joints are treated with embedded silicone sealing. The panels are conductively connected to eliminate electro-static discharge (ESD). The design of the multifunctional system of the EP MEDICAL operating rooms built-in provides for simple location of the end and active elements of electric wiring, air-conditioning, instrumentation and control, data and other media.
The door is an integral part of the entire system of the operating rooms built-in. It is manufactured in a wide variety of versions. It can be sliding or revolving, manual or automatic, solid or with integrated pharma glazing, with magnetically or electrically controlled blinds as well as acoustic or X-ray finish. The door can be opened by contactless control. The door is made from the same materials as the wall system with the possibility of the same surface treatments as the wall system, too.
The built-in of operating rooms may include cabinets for sewing and other operating material and pass through chambers fully integrated in the wall system.
The steel panels of suspended ceiling are designed in a modular way. For the basic suspended ceiling model are manufactured all individual components, such as the air-conditioning extension, laminar field, lights and service access panel. Optionaly the suspended ceiling can be supplemented with acoustic insulation to reduce the transfer of noise between the individual workplaces.
According to the installation documentation all the designed components are mounted in the support grid and connected to the required media and utilities. The ceiling is then closed up with the individual panels. Joints in the suspended ceiling are sealed with silicone or polyurethane sealant or a silicone gaskets. The suspended ceiling allow maintenance and service access through service panels marked with a pictogram on the surface.
The Pure Zone laminar field ensures the required class of cleanliness in the field of operation in operating rooms. It is the end component of the air-conditioning, used for clean air supply, terminated with a laminar element to direct the air flow. As standard the Pure Zone laminar field is equipped with its own light source with the possibility of continuous change in the lighting intensity.
Inlet filtration adapters, inlet and outlet diffusers, extract grills are elements integrated in the wall or suspended ceiling system of the operating room built-in or its background. It is used for air supply or exhaust to/from these rooms.
The lights are mounted in the steel suspended ceiling. Lights are offered in a wide variety of lighting outputs. They are manufactured in the design with an optical grid and glass, with IP 65 protection class and electronically dimmed ballast resistances. The light sources are fluorescent or LED tubes.
The floor is an integral part of the entire built-in of the operating room. By choosing a suitable design and colour combination it highlight the overall compactness of the operating room. The most frequently used material is homogenous PVC in antistatic finish which can be easily maintained. The other version is epoxide screed. This version enables a jointless surface to be achieved. Both systems are executed with coving which eliminates uncleanable spots on the transition between the floor and wall system.

Integrated in the wall system. It enables a well-arranged display of the necessary documents to the medical staff in the operating room. It can be operated by means of a hinged keyboard, remote controller or directly with your fingers on the full touch screen of the monitor.
Computer technology peripherals and sanitary requirements have always been somewhat out of accord. The hinged keyboard in our EP MEDICAL operating rooms has overcome this fact. Thanks to its mini-gap design and washable surface it can easily meet the demands of hospital requirement. Outside the period of use the keyboard can be tilted into the wall system to save valuable space in the operating room.
We supply high-power operating lights with LED sources and the possibility of integrated video system within the built-in of operating rooms. For these lights it is possible to choose accessories and options for setting the individual parameters (such as chromaticity colour, lighting intensity, lighting geometry of the field of operation) according to your needs.
Multifunctional panel is mounted in the wall system. It is used to control and monitor important operating parameters in the operating room and display the required current data such as time, temperature, air humidity in the operating room, pressure of medicinal gases, etc. You can get immediate control over all devices in the operating room on one place.

Manufactured in various sizes with batteries dosing water upon impulses from a proximity sensor. They can also include disinfectant dosing devices with touchless control or mechanic dosing.
