Reconstruction of the production unit PJ 20.06

The company FARMAK, a.s. focuses on research, development and production of active pharmaceutical substances, chemical products and specialties. In order to expand the production capacity for the production of medicinal substances and intermediate products, it has decided to reconstruct the production unit PJ 20.06 in the existing object 33.

Our company processed the executive project documentation in the BIM system.

Subsequently, in the position of general contractor, we implemented a complete reconstruction of the cleanrooms and other production areas on the ground floor up to 4th floor, in which the demanding API production technology was located. We also built a new addition to the object 33 for the storage of combustibles, incl. supply and installation of technology for this warehouse.

As part of the reconstruction of the object, the extensive layout changes were made to the interior spaces. The steel structures were installed on the individual floors for the location of new technological equipment and for air conditioning and central heating technologies.

The work also included the treatment of spaces with environmental technology (ventilation technology, cooling, heating, sanitary installations, low-voltage and weak-current distributions, FADS, SFES, a special MaR system for a technology, etc.), as well as the complete realization of technological pipe distributions and the supply of technological equipment.

The new cleanrooms of CNC cleanliness class were built for the entire API production process, incl. new cleanrooms for barrel washing technology.

The installation system of cleanrooms consists of metal partitions with glazing, metal revolving doors, metal cassette ceilings, into which the end elements of air conditioning and lighting are integrated. The entry of employees into cleanrooms is handled through personnel culverts, which are equipped with appropriate furniture. The supply of material to production takes place by means of material filters.

The new cleanrooms have been comprehensively tested, validated and meet the requirements of cGMP standards.

The implementation of all construction works took place without interrupting other production processes in the object 33.
